Christian Easter Activities for Young Children - Ebook
The Bunny, The Egg and The Cross | An Easter Ebook

‌Easter feels like it sneaks up on me every year!  Do you find the same?  I always mean to plan out a bunch of Easter activities but, somehow life never seems to give me a quiet moment to do so.  However, several years ago I did sit down and plan out some Easter fun for our kids.  I actually even wrote a 33 page E-book with teaching, crafts, printables and scripture cards for teaching young children all about Easter: The Bunny, the Egg and the Cross.

Learning about the history of holidays.

I think it’s interesting what brings about most special days.  There is usually a lot more to the story than meets the eye.  In The Bunny, the Egg & the Cross, we look at all the special days involved in Easter.

This includes:

  • Shrove Tuesday (Pancake Day)
  • Ash Wednesday
  • Lent
  • Palm Sunday
  • Maundy Thursday
  • Good Friday
  • Easter Sunday

Where do the Bunny and the Egg fit in?

Furthermore, there is also a great discussion of where the bunny and the egg came from, and a few ideas for how they can be used for teaching about Jesus and the true meaning of Easter. Easter activities are included for learning about the bunny and about Easter eggs.  These activities can be completed anytime before or during the week of Easter.

Easter Activities…Because Kids Love Crafts!

A master craft list in the beginning of the book lists all of the items that will be needed to complete each craft for one child.  The items needed are typically found in a household, or, they can be bought at most dollar stores.

Each days lesson starts with bible reading (and a scripture memory card to go with your reading).  Clear step-by-step instructions and pictures walk you through the daily crafts.  After each Easter activity, there is a short discussion called “Let’s talk about it”, to help your children reflect on the activity, the scripture and how these tie into the greater meaning of Easter.

The Bunny, the Egg and the Cross is a wonderful teaching guide filled with Easter activities for young children. It covers the history of Easter including Shrove Tuesday, Ash Wednesday, Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday and Easter Friday. There are craft ideas with teaching and scripture cards for each day of the week of Easter. This ebook is an excellent resource!

I really enjoyed using this book with my own children and I hope that you will enjoy using it as well!   You can click here to get your copy now for just $7.99.

Question:
Do you use living books in your Homeschool?? And what books are on your TO READ list this year?? ---------------
Answer:
I LOVE living books as Charlotte Mason calls them!!! My kids have learned to really love literature by teaching them with stories instead of text books. We're reading The Little House series this year and a few select novels from Jean Craighead George as well!!! For my littles I have a whole list of living books! See the link in my bio if you'd like a copy of the book list ❤️
